hi, i found this site, among others, through google. you guys are quite prolific there. :v

'05 sky blue v6 stock pony. bought it on a handshake payment deal, kid smeared upholstery and all. it was formerly owned by a friend of mines mom who had died. so it's "kid stained" like you wouldn't believe, but hey, i'm a grandpa which of course means i've had my own kids and kid stains are par for the course. it still has only 85k miles and is at least ten years old.

anyway, like most people i imagine, i signed up because i not only won't pay $500-$800 dollars to a shop to troubleshoot my problem, i can't afford to pay that much. you heard that right, they want 500-800 to troubleshoot, not fix, my problem.

now since they told me that it's either a bad computer or a bad wiring harness i figured that if i could tell the difference 25 years ago in F-15 fighter jets i could probably sort out an '05 mustang. at least as far as finding a bad wire or five anyway.

so that's my story and i'm sticking to it.

p.s.- i think this is the first forum i've signed up to in at least five years and probably closer to ten.
