Good morning, folks. I live on the Chesapeake Bay and am planning to buy my first Mustang(used) in the coming months.:) So, basically, I'm looking for advice and this looked like one of the best places to get it. Glad to be here, and if I get my car, I hope to hang around.

look at vehicle history reports like car fax.com to see about the vehicle history and then try to get a true market value of the car you are looking at by checking out the edmunds.com web site. Then you can negotiate the price down with the facts. Keep in mind that many dealers charge a transaction or processing fee for every car sold so you need to deduct that from the asking price before you even start !. Could be anywhere from $199 to $499 beware. Good Luck

That's definitely something to keep in mind. Thank you for bringing it up.
I have a couple questions I'd like to ask, but I'm a little uncertain as to where to post them. Any advice would be much appreciated.
Right now I'm looking at two Mustangs: one of them is a 2003 Mustang with a 3.8 V6. The other one is a 2005 GT clone with the 4.6 V8. I'm trying to pull together all the information I can about gas mileage, the engines, the cars themselves, any possible reservations about buying a "clone", etc.
Thanks!
