I have a 2003 GT convertible in Florida. Done all maintenance intervals and oil changes just on time. It ' s been a great car for me, reliable.
I now have 130,000 miles and concerned to go on long trips, I stay within 1 1/2 hrs of home.
Not sure if I keep it or while I can get some dollars for it, get a new one.
By the way, the top is leaking thru the rear window, so I sponge out the water after each rain.
Any opinion or advice will be appreciated.

Welcome to AFM! That's always a tough question. If you love her... rebuild the engine and save the money by not buying another car. You're "in tune" with this one. I don't know what your budget is or what you're ultimately wanting though.

As far as the leak in the back it's pretty common on older ragtops. Our 96GT does the same thing. The problem is usually the material separating from the rear glass on the lower edge. If you can't seal it up then replacement for the glass and just that section of the material usually goes aroun $600 or so.
