New MGW Shifter!
I just installed the MGW short throw shifter with knob kit.
Its smooth. I set it to 7 turns out and is a dramtic improvement over my stock shifter.

Nice! One of those is on my list for someday. I've heard good and bad things (mostly good, though) about the other brands, but I don't think I've ever heard any complaints about the MGW, except for price.
Yeah its a bit on the pricey side. But real easy install and great directions.

I will call you crazy, CRAZY lol.. jk. Seriously though, out of all the stick cars i have driven, well i must say the 05+ GT 5spds are the crappiest shifter feel i have felt, and it has a pretty long throw..Call me crazy, but I must be the only one that actually likes the stock knob! ;-)
Sorry, but if i had kept my 5spd, a shifter would have been my first mod.. I do not know why all you stick owners rarely change it? I think it gives it such a nice feel and alot better shift.. Quicker obviously.
Check the pics in my gallery. It looks just like a stocker! I like the silver/black finish and the feel, it goes with the rest of my car.can you post a picture? I'm curious to see how that looks, since that is what i was contemplating
