The problem with the color match can also occur with different "runs" from the same manufacturer. I've seen pretty big differences just looking at the wheels right out of the box. Think about how hard it is for a repair shop to match your oe paint, particularly with metallic clear coats (and this is sort of what the anthracite color is).

Just noticed you're selling the GT. Hope this doesn't mean you've given up on us - or are you just clearing the way for the GT500?

I ran into the same thing - prompting my from-Hell experience going to black deep dish and all the brake-related problems I ran into.
