I have this done to mine but I used night shades on the reverse lights and it melted the tailights I got overspray on the drivers side center one and now there's a huge dip where it messed them up guess I'll be ordering those from AM idk I kinda like the smoked but I prefer to keep my brake lights as visible as possible so I probably go non smoke but thanks guys!I was contemplating the same thing last year OP. But instead I went ahead and ordered the mmd tail light trim and bought a can of plasti dip to black out the reverse lights. This brought everything together nicely with the deck lid. As to visibility of the reverse lights, yes, light output is greatly reduced but I felt they weren't much help to me anyways. Others can still see them turn on when pulling out of a parking space though so they still serve their purpose. And with the left over dip I did the 3rd brake light and the faux cap surround. I am very pleased with the out come and get compliments all the time. Here's a pic. Enjoy thumbsup3.gif
