New Tires and Wheels for the GT!

Hey guys, just got back from America's Tire (Discount Tire outside of CA). The new wheels look great! 20inch American Racing "Rogue" in chrome. I had yet to see these in person before purchasing, and the only pictures I had seen online were of 18s, so needless to say I was apprehensive. Anyway the wheels look awesome, and the 255/35/20 Yokohama S.Drive tires ride great; much quieter than the stock Pirellis.

The Roush rear springs didn't arrive yesterday like FedEx said they would, so sometime mid-week I'll have them installed. Hopefully after I drop the rear the car will look good and I won't need to mess with the front....

umm- the camera is outside, haha I will post up pics in a little bit :bigthumbsup

So where is the pics at????? Congrats on the new wheels and tires.
Drew relax dude! haha, here are just a couple crappy shots of the car before and after. The suspension was still a little stretched after sitting on the rack, so the car sits a to come down and inch IMO... and I took a pic of the SHR panel in case anyone wanted to see how that looks - my favorite part of the car :)

edit: The pics were too big so they're in a new album in my gallery... I will update the gallery with more pics later in the week once the springs are installed

re-edit: I'm having trouble uploading the pics... :frustrated:

The car looks great with the new wheels and tires. What kind of lift is that and where is it lifting the car at??

I'm not sure who makes the lift, but it only goes up just high enough to swap the tires and wheels... actually I'm not sure where it lifted the car from, doesn't look like it hurt it any, but definitely not from the jack points now that I look more closely at the photo...

yea man, the springs are probably gonna go in Wed. the car sits a bit lower now than in that pic, the suspension was still somewhat stretched out from being on the lift... but one inch out of the rear should give it a nice aggressive stance i hope.

yea dude... if FedEx didn't suck so much, I would have had them in yesterday
Finally!!!!

well it took forever, but the springs are finally in. taking an inch out of the rear looks absolutely perfect. this is exactly the look I was going for. here are some pics of the car now with the rear springs in.
