That is Awesome, wow new plugs gave you that much power.LOL pretty good mod.
Only 12 psi because it is a brand new engine and I just wanted to make power in steps. This is step one. I have a 16 psi pulley on the shelf ready to go. I just want to run 12 psi for a while and see how that is.lol 500rwtq at 2100rpm just isn't safe man... she's gonna rip when you finish dialing her in. why only 12psi? shouldn't your engine safely handle a lot more than that?
o ok that makes sense... I thought you had more room to go, but it is smart to take it easy for now. not that 650rwhp is "taking it easy" still insane numbers hahaOnly 12 psi because it is a brand new engine and I just wanted to make power in steps. But guys like forensicsteve are pumping 20 psi through the same motor I have.
Trust me, 550 on the street is more than you can really even use. Anything above that is just for the track, IMHO. 550 is insane power that shouldn't be taken lightly.
That's some awesome numbers.
Think I'm going to have to dynotune in Snoqualmie...lol, instead of south Louisiana. Hope to take car back to the track tomorrow...going to be close to 90 degrees with high humidity....yuck. I just looked at your weather...highs in the 50s. That must feel wonderful.
Now get that car to the track and make them ponies work for you.
It's not so much that the new plugs gave me more power. It's that the old, improper, ungapped ones were holding me back. That is Awesome, wow new plugs gave you that much power.LOL pretty good mod.
Jebus, I have no clue what it'd be like to drive that kind of power but I'll have a lot more respect the next time I pull up to a GT500 (got wasted by one the other night I wasn't even trying to race)Trust me, 550 on the street is more than you can really even use.
