Hi All, first post :winks i'm after some advice on bolt on performance for my stock 5.0 HO 91 shortblock....

basically i'm after as much power as possible on the stock short block, i'm talking heads & cam inlet carb (gotta use a carb for my install) rockers etc etc, I don't have to worry about cats and will be running on 97 RON gasoline which i think is the equivelent to your 93 octane?

the main problem in the UK is parts are extremely hard and expensive to get hold off hence why i'm very much off the shelf in the UK or imported from the states. to give you an idea of importing we have to pay for example AFR 165's ($1300 + $300 shipping / 1.7 exrate + 5% import tax + 17.5% tax) would end up costing me $1975 !!!:sosad::sosad:

the only thing i have at this point is a mallory dual point which i want convert to unilite.

oh and the car weighs about 2800lbs will be 5 sp T5 with 3.62 gears

thanks for any advice offered! :)

Shipping to Australia is more expensive due to the distance and our poor exchange rate so I feel your pain !

Honestly, the best way is to work out the parts you want, then go see an importer and see if you can buy some space in their container. Tax is hard to avoid unless you know someone :smoke:
