so this is my first post, I've been deciding to either build a 78 king can ranger bagged truck or restore a 1969 mustang fastback and well I've never owned a car I am going down the dying road. I've been searching and well some of these guys are selling some rust buckets for the price of a halfway restored car. I need your help with some places for a body. IM ok with needing lots of work cuz I plan on working on this thing for a while. I take my time just like I did on building my 02 lightning. I appreciate the help fellas

well this is a no-brainer....69 Fastback. They do cost a lot as rustbuckets, but are worth a nice dime when well-restored.

You'll have just as much money in the truck (maybe more with all the bagging stuff) and it will probably be worth 1/3 of what the car will be. The 73-79 trucks do not bring "big money" but it's all about what you really WANT to build... those are two VERY different projects... but I have a 67 C10 65 mustang and 67 firebird... the more the merrier... :bigthumbsup

Do the Mustang! It'll open up a new world to you. When you need a truck just go buy one, it's a tool. If you use a restored truck as a truck you'll beat the crap out of it.

The 67-72 and 73-79 Ford trucks are some very sexy looking pick ups when done right, especially the 67-72s! And crew cabs are just cool. :bigthumbsup
