Next upgrade to 1999 Mustang GT?

Hey guys, I was wanting some advice. I have a 99 Mustang GT. I have it performance tuned for 91 octane gas, BF Goodrich G-Force Supersport tires, a K&N Cold Air Intake and 4.10 gears.
I hadn't planned on doing any more modifications to it, but my girlfriend recently got me a $100 gift card to AmericanMuscle.com so of course I'm going to spend it. I was wondering if you guys had any advice on another upgrade. I don't want to spend too much extra, but I do realize that I'll have to spend more than $100.
I'm looking for mods for horsepower--not for looks.
So if you guys have any advice or suggestions on a mod that would work well with what I have and give me some more horsepower/torque please let me know.

Go with a pair of the Steeda underdrive pulleys. Americanmuscle claims it adds 8-10 RWHP recovery and it's pretty easy to install. I've had my eyes on these for months now but I'm saving up my money for an exhaust system:bigthumbsup
Yeah, im with andrew on this one ... get Steeda pulleys. On my 06 i gained 9 hp. They go for around $200, thats the cheapest mod i can think of
I actually went to AmericanMuscle yesterday after I posted, and the pulleys were what caught my eye. Seems like a pretty cheap way to get some extra HP. Are they fairly easy to install?

200 bucks for 9 hp?? wow I dont think that is worth it to me.

Last time I checked, horsepower wasn't cheap.

I agree, but are you going to really be happy with a 9 hp increase? You probably wont even notice 9 hp. But im the kind of person that wants big gains of atleast 50 hp. If I cant get atleast that, then I wont waste my money for the small stuff like pulleys. If its not cams, heads, supercharger, or NOS, I dont want it. Maybe im the weird one I guess.
No. You won't be happy with a 9 hp increase. That's why I took my pulleys off and put the stock ones back on. With a supercharger.
To each their own though. Bullitt tears up the track with his car and he doesn't have any serious power adders. I guess it helps if you can actually drive, too.
Speaking of Bullitt...where the hell is he, lately?
He got mad because he got an infraction I guess.

Yeah, they're easy to install. An impact gun and a pulley puller are a must.
put it towards some new exhaust, i don't see you listing that among your mods, every mustang loves exhaust :)
I'm with hotshot on this one, headers or exhaust are a great way to free up some ponies, not necessarily the cheapest way but every one else around will know it too... besides, if you're shooting for big power in the long run they're definitely needed.

P.S.- What did Bullitt's infraction come about for... lettin' someone have it??
I've heard that exhausts don't really free up that much extra hp. I kind of saw them as more of something to make your car sound good, but not necessarily go faster. Do you guys have any numbers on the kind of hp increases one could expect from an exhaust?
For the money you are spending you are going to get little HP increase not matter what you buy. Go with the exaust because it sound like you are going faster and you will be happier with the sound vs the unnoticable 9hp bump the under drive pullies MAY give you. Besides if you live somewhere hot the water pump may run too slow and you could potentially overheat in traffic.
Exhaust alone is not gonna add a lot of power... but neither is any mod alone (talking bolt ons). Its the combination of bolt ons that give your the HP. And when it comes later down the road exhaust is a must.

I noticed you have a tune... do you have a CIA or TB?
I have a CAI, but my tuner got chewed up by my mom's dog when I went home one Thanksgiving (not kidding--wish I was) so the CAI is not tuned.
i might recomend a TB, i didnt see anybody else say it... my buddy said he noticed throttle response... that or exhaust
