Haya All!

Went to the track last night and had FUN!

Spun half way down and need tires for next Friday... am new at this so all and any advice regarding drags is appreciated!

Am thinking 16" rims (same style as my 19's) with BF Drag Radials 255-55-16, I think he said 10.5" wide same overall as OM, about 26" high...

I want street legal tires but the best possible track tracktion... will have ~500 RWHP soon... (~300 now...)

I have bfgoodrrich dr's 275/40's and they have some really good traction. Mine are on 9" wheels and i cannot spin them off the line. (w/ a good burnout) my gt is mostly stock but dang they hook well. I drop the clutch at 5500 and it just bogs down so i think they should do fine.
Thanks!

I have since that post invested in a set of MT ETs 275/40 that I have on a set of 9" 17's.

It makes it oh so much more fun but I still have problems hooking... have gotten quite a few pointers (on technique) since my last runs and think/hope I'll be better this coming Saturday if my car is back in one piece...??

I have the preassure all the way down at 10 PSI and 'only' some 300 to the wheels... gotta get going with less power and nurse it in AFTER it hooks!
