No oil pressure

Hello everyone I have a 1992 mustang GT and I'm getting no oil pressure I already replaced the pick up tube and the oil pump I primed the pump as well in car and I gave the car a oil change with new filter and the reason I did all this is because I was driving one night and noticed that my oil pressure dropped to 0 and I immediately pulled over and shut down the engine because I started hearing chatter from the upper half so I eventually limped the car home and I started the
car the next morning and I had good oil pressure but after about 3 minutes it dropped all the way to 0 and the chatter started again I'd appreciate any input thank you

Is there a pressure relief valve in that engine which could have failed open?
Hello thank you for your reply im not sure about that but I will look Into it once I get the motor pulled out
Hello everyone I finally got the engine out off my 92 gt and I have discovered the problem of oil pressure issue I have never seen anything like this there is a ton of hard material that looks like tar under the valve covers you could not even see the head bolts and also the oil return ports were blocked bye this stiff so I did another oil pressure test it's getting good pressure until the oil starts to fill up in the valve covers so I have no clue how I'm going to get all this out of my engine it's everywhere and I don't know how it got there

The oil clearly wasn't changed maybe ever during its ownership. I've heard stories of people driving for 100k miles without ever having the oil changed which is of course devasting for the engine.
Scrape and shop vacuum the deposits all out. Then run an oil system cleaner in the oil like Seafoam or an equivalent. I would suspect the mileage on this vehicle is actually 189k miles and not 89k.
Thank you for your reply and I will most definitely do what you recommended and as for the millage I'd probably never know the truth since people have done shady stuff but im so lucky to have this car and I will take much better care of it than it's previous owner I got the marti report on it only 46 built with this paint and color combo I wonder how many are actually left besides this one I remember posting my door tag on another forum and I got replies saying that code doesn't exist well clearly it does according to Ford 😎
