I get no spark but car turns very weak. Replaced coil, plugs, and points. What else can I do to get spark???

make sure your point gap is correct,make sure you have power to coil with key on,make sure the rotor is turning when you crank the eng.over.these are some basic things to ck.

how much gap should there be?

get the points up on the dist.lobe and adjust point gap to .017 with a feeler guage.it is a 641/2 eng.?

no its a 302. original engine was a 260

.017 two barrel,.021 four barrel carb.
