I have a 96 v6 mustang that I have been "fixing" up.
I now have a great addition coming to my family in March.
Has anybody tried a car seat in their 94-98 mustang?
Any suggestions or feedback would be very helpful.

Congrats on the new addition.

Back seat is the safest place for a young 'un. Regardless of how inconvienent it is for you got get them there, they do NOT do well in an accident while riding up front.

Kscoyote,

Have you done it before?
I have not been hearing good things yet.

It's got the hookups near the rear speakers. The Mustang is very safe, as the backseat is protected very well, the seat is right on top of the bracing for the rear axles, and the axle/wheels will take the punishment in a side collision, and it has no doors back there to pop open. It's a pain to move the front seats and load, but once there, it's not that difficult.
