I own a stock 2001 Mustang Bullitt and I want to get into autocross. I know there are seperate classes for Novice & Stock mustangs. Does anyone have any suggestions on how i can get started and maybe a club i can join like the SCCA?

I live in the bay area, would this be a good place to start?

Yes, SCCA is a great place to start. First, get your SCCA membership, it's usually $60-$100 per year. I saw they have a link on there, "your first solo event." Good stuff there :bigthumbsup I would suggest getting in contact with, possibly, the regional solo director. He should be able to point you in the right direction and answer any questions you have.
I just got started in autocross last year (SCCA solo II). It's a lot of fun, and all kinds of finances can participate.
Word or advice: Don't mod anything until you talk to other local Mustang competitors. I had my car for quite a while before I got involved in autocross. I have to compete in street mod, somewhere I cannot usually be competitive.
