Hi everyone,

please help
I have a 2017 Mustang eco boost convertible
I bought the car with the airbag light on and the error code referring to the passenger occupant seat sensor. I checked the sensor and it was leaking fluid.
Error codes are: B00A0:09-8B & B00A0:64-8B
I found the same sensor on eBay after looking for a long time and replaced it but still have the same code and the scanner would erase it then it will come back again (intermittent)
I took out the airbag module and sent it to reset thinking maybe a crash code was stored there. I got it back installed it and it didn’t fix the problem.
I had a quote from the old owner for almost $3k from the dealer to replace the sensor with the cushion for the seat but I really can’t afford paying 3k for this.

Where can I find/buy the wiring diagram to do a continuity check on the cable from the sensor to the module?

I would call around to another dealer or two and get your own quote. Some dealers like to inflate prices and that $3k quote seems pretty steep for a single seat OCS service.
I’m on an island with two ford dealers only and the cheapest was $3k (2780 to be exact). I can buy the sensor with the cushion from the dealer for $1700 but I’m sure I will need them to program it.
