I own a 2000 mustang with the 3.8L liter engine. My odometer started to dim and go out at intervals and lately it wouldn't come on at all. So I finally decided to fix it, which Í thought would be hard, but the hardest part was figuring out the cause. Once pinpointed it wasnt that hard. I made a video and I am posting the link, since I heard this is a common problem on many fords (not only mustangs)from years 99 to 04.
I hope this helps many of you, since I had a hard-time finding information on how to fix this common problem.
