odometer repair

i purchased the two new plastic pieces to repair my instrument cluster. could anyone please help me out with detailed instructions on how to install these in order to fix my speedo/odometer or a web address that will show me how to fix this. the kit came with a round gear bout the size of a nickel/quarter and a 1/2-5/8 inch long threaded piece. any help would be very much appreciated. thanks

I've done it, it is very easy, taking the speedo out of the dash is the hardest part. Most of the time it's just the big gear that is broken it just pops out, just make sure you get all the pieces out, if the worm gear is broke just pull it off carefully with needle nose plyers. I put a light coat of white grease on mine after install and it works perfect.
