A few (Around 10 or so) from my local Mustang Group, SSF, will be heading up to PBIR this Wednesday. I posted this on the Facebook page in the event that any of you want to join up. I plan on going as long as I can get an oil change in before Wednesday and the weather holds up.

Welcome you guys to our own little hangout for the 3.7L V6 Mustang.
As Discussed in the 2011+ V6 Tech Section HERE, this club is where we will manage our group hangouts and determine the events we would like to participate in.
Anyone in the state of Florida with a 2011+ V6 is more than welcome to come out to the meets, participate in drag strip/track days, and suggest ideas for us to do.
We welcome conversation from the V8 guys, but please understand this is our small corner of the universe. With MUCH respect to the 5.0, most car shows/meets/clubs we all attend are dominated by the Coyote engined Mustang.
Because Florida is so expansive, we have decided to try and make each and every outing count. The group will meet every 3-4 months to allow for proper planning, or, meet more frequently in smaller groups at our own discrestion.
Example:
Event #1 may be held at Orlando Speedworld in June and ALL members are encouraged to attend. Between total group events, the crew from Miami/West Palm/Boca Raton, can feel free to attend PBIR at anytime. The crew from Clearwater/Sarasota may attend events at BMP at anytime. So on and so forth.
We will all do our best to cycle around at various locations throughout the state to keep things fair in regards to member travel. There is NO obligation to do ANYTHING suggested, but highly encouraged.
Most things will be trial and error for a while, but I will do my best to keep things as orderly as possible. I do not believe that I can get a sticky thread in this part of the forum, so please, make sure to subscribe to this thread and stay tuned for more info.
Again, there is no pressure or obligation to any of this, but if you feel this is something you'd like to be a part of, please make a post of your location and interest level. IE; Cruises, Meets, Drag Strip, Autocross, etc

we all try to make events happen in our respective regions. Seems like this entire summer has been washed out though.
RebelTX told me that he plans on getting out to the track this Friday 7/19 if the weather holds. I'll try to be out there as well. Shoot me a text. I try to keep everyone in the loop when we will be headed out and about.

Weather permitting I am hoping to join Kevin12stang at the track to see where his new 4.10 gears and drive shaft put him on the 1/4 mile list. Should be a fun night. I think we have 2 more from the Facebook page that are going to attempt to make an appearance as well as any others in the group that make it out when they can.

When?... Pre-meet is 10:30pm at the Walgreens on Alafaya and Science Dr. Car show starts at 10:30, were shooting for 11pm arrival. If you can't make Walgreens just meet us at the show, not a big deal. The Walgreens is maybe 3min down the road from the event.
Where?... In the parking lot behind Wendy's on Alafaya and Colonial (50).
More info: This is an open meet that has been going on for a while now and there will be cars of all makes/models. As always, Your welcome to bring friends out. The whole point of this is to just hang out, have fun, BS about cars and make some friends.

lots of imports and things of that sort. Most of the negatives can be pointed at the type of people at this type of event. General "yahoo's" is the nicest thing i could say, lots of people doing stupid things and drawing un needed attention. There were some cool guys out there for sure so not all bad. So, not a bad event, just not our type of crowd really and a little late for some members with work. I wouldn't be opposed to going once in a while but i don't see this being an every week thing.
As for this saturday mustang meet, I think we should look into it for sure. I cant remember if it was saturday or monday though... anyways, it sounded like it was rite off Alafaya so it shouldn't be too hard to find if we had a time. Might take a drive one night and try to find it.
