Do you know if it's the same oil cooler that the 93 and 95 Cobra R used? Should just be an o ring i thought. Have you taken yours off to show them what you need at Ford?

I searched a few places, it's def a little challenge to find it.

Not sure about being the same cooler as on the "R". The Ford guy, using my VIN gave me a picture of the cooler to block assy. It looks same as mine. He also gave me the part number (earlier post) but he could not give me dimensions. I checked with RockAuto but they could not help. I don't want to remove anything until I have the parts to put it back together.

Have you pinpointed Exactly where the oil is leaking from?
It could be 3 spots...
1. at the engine block to oil cooler gasket
2. the O-Ring inside the assembly (if you fully loosen the threaded part the the filter spins on that cylinder piece will come out and the O-ring is about halfway down, see if it's ripped anywhere. And YES you can try tightening that allen size nut, sometimes they do come loose!
3. at the filter itself, sometimes the previous filter gasket gets stuck and you'll have two on top of each other!
That cooler gasket isn't the easiest thing to find, check a Ford Dealership that's ALSO SVT, a regular one doesn't need to stock Cobra and Lightning parts!:bigthumbsup

Reviving this old thread, maybe OP will see. I'm in the same boat. Need a ned gasket for my 94.

First off, there is no "o-ring". The gasket is flat, and has a lip that drops down into the rim of the cooler. The flat side of the gasket sits against the block.

I am up sh-t creek with this one. Ford has d/c'd the part like everyhting else unique to the 5 liter Cobras> There are none on the shelf nationwide.
I've gone so far as to call the manufacturer of the cooler, but no dice.
I know it sounds idiotic, but I can't find a gasket that will work to save my life.

The only option is buying a new assembly (if you can find one) I've seen a few, and hoping hte gasket is new...

If anyone can correct me, and help me out, let me know, but I think I'm pretty much spot on here with my info.
