Hey guys,

I have some oil leaks coming from around the oil pan area. At first I thought it was coming from the lower drain plug, which I replaced with a new Ford unit (newer style with built in O-ring). Cleaned everything up and the next day I get under the car to take a look and still find evidence of a couple of leaks.

I am going with RMS seal and the side oil level sending unit that bolts into the side of the oil pan....what do you guys think?

Have you checked the oil pan bolts? I dont mean to insult your intelligence, but sometimes it is the most obvious thing that can kick your butt:scratchchin

+ 1 on the oil pan bolts, it looks like the oil is leaking somewhere high and trickling down and sticking to the underside of the pan

From your pics I would suggest 2 things.
1. rear main seal.
2. I've seen this a lot on 302's. check the very back side of the valve covers, they will leak, then it looks like your rear main seal is leaking when it's actually the valve covers dripping down the back-side.
