Unhooked battery then hooked back up. Everything is fine. The light will shut off.

Check oil light came on and stays on. Never been on before. Had just unhooked battery, then first start up came on and stayed.
-Checked oil level and is fine.
-Pressure gauge on dash shows plenty of pressure. Starts and seems to run fine.
-Was wondering if it would be fine to drive?
-Any suggestion on what to check would be greatly appreciated.
