I recently installed 3 summit gauges into my 1992 Mustang GT. Volt, Water temp and oil pressure. The volt and water temp work fine, but my oil pressure gauge needle goes past its maximum psi when i crank my car or even turn the key just to turn the fuel pump on. Its "worked" 2 or 3 times since i put it in. when its "worked" the needle danced between 40-80 depending if i was cruising, at a stop light or accelerating. It came with its own sensor which i put it. Should I go back to my stock sensor? or is something else the problem?
