Okay I am buying my Turbo kit today finally although still trying to piece some things together, here are some HP stats and what I trying to figure out before I get started:

HP is roughly 450-480RWHP at 8PSI which is the spring I will be using. Called ON3Perfromance yesterday to work out price and it was $2460 shipped with MAF and Injetors although i think I am going to get the base kit without injectors and order the 39lb from brenspeed seeing that they are only $250 and am deciding on the SCT BA5000 from AM and going with a blow through MAf from VMP or using the Mafia and another setup.

The only things you have to buy separate was the BAP and the Tune.

I am going to be ordering around 100 so if you have any suggestions on what MAf set up to go with let me know also if you know a cheap place to get a BAP I missed out on the one on the forums.

Okay I bought the kit from AJ at AmpSpeedLab for 1980 Shipped has everything but the injectors, BAP, and Tune.

I bought a BAP on s197forum for $150 off a member and I am looking to get some new 39lb injectors for $200.
My tune is going to be $300 for a 8PSI tune.

So as of now I have only spent $2130, the kit should be here hopefully Sat and then the madness will start hopefully have it tuned by next week.

I will be posting pics and vids of the installation when I start.

Very cool! :kooky:You must chomping at the bit to get started! To my knowledge you are the first to document the install for the On 3 Turbo kit on AFM. Given the price you paid I assume you purchased with the base turbo and did not upgrade to MP or Percision?

I want to see how the base works out for a few months then will probaly upgrade the wastegate,BOV and Turbo. I am going to be looking at usedturbos.net to see what they have when I am ready will probably go to a 67 ball bearing precision or turbonetics.

And yes I am stoked I have been waiting for this for so long. I still have to post my thread warning all again to think about everything you buy becuase you going to sell it for next to nothing.

I hope to get some people to save money on going with hellion or the more expensive kits and doing this kit. it's so cheap there's no point to even think about going the N/A route when first modding a stang.

Okay I am excited and yet getting impatient I received my KB BAP today and my new front tires from AM now all I need is a Mafia and the Turbo Kit (still waiting). I hope I can find a Mafia on the forums soon.

I will be hooking up the KB BAP tonight and installing the 39lb Injectors.
So it's done when the turbo gets here hopefully tomorrow.

So I just installed the BAP still waiting for UPS to arrive so now I will move on to the Injectors and then take off the oil pan once I figure out how to remove the damn thing Only way I know how to raise the engine is with jacking it up with a phone book under the oil pan.

I will be posting pics and Vids all day so you people better comment especially if you have a good idea to remove the oil pan remember I am doing this on Jack stands.

Pictures Show the two end soldered and shrink wrapped and then covered for protection. By far one of the easiest installs ever. 30min or less.

I might do the speed of sound shaker delete and just get a pioneer to fill that slot that way all my switches are right there since I dont have nitrous anymore i will be selling my SOS cup holder switch. I also made a fiberglass single gauge pod holder for the dash that I never used I might make a dash gauge pod holder but with 3-4 gauge slots. instead of 1

And +1 on saving money.

By the way changing these injectors is a pain in the ass.

Hold motor up with a motor puller then remove the cross member Or K member. Then pull the pan. I am looking at this kit pretty hard now myself. I would still have to spray some nitrous, just not as much. The pipe from the manifold may have to be cut down a bit also to fit properly from what I read. Remember to retighten all clamps and hoses after the first run also. I like the kit that is able to adjust the boost up as you grow with the car.

Okay the turbo Finally arrived here are some pics of the new injectors and the turbo still in the box for know. I am sensing an all nighter.

I will post more pics once I unpack everything.

And response to Bkid I am leaving the pan on with oil in it then daining collecting shaving and do 2 oil changes along with a magnet swipe.

I broke an O-Ring on the Fuel Rail Adapter, well the hell can I find one this little thing will not hold me up>

Here is a Picture

I hope autozone or oreillys will have this.

The On3Performance turbo kit is by far the worst turbo kit
you could of got.I installed three of these On3Performance
turbo kits and all three of them had fitment issues. The quality
of this turbi kit is terrible also.I would never give On3Performance
my business.A sales guy by the name of Steve that works for On3Performance physically threatened a member on another forum
that guy has alot of nerve.By the way in my experience the
customer service at On3Performance is horrible.People even
received their On3Performance turbo kits with missing parts.
With turbo kits you definitley get what you pay for.I would
have got a Hellion turbo kit.

Funny steve huh the only people that work for On3Performance are Chad the Owner and mike the sales guy.
Keep your crap off my thread these dudes had some of the best customer service i have ever sen in a business and I will back them up %100.

im curious to see how long this kit will hold up considering the price.
Well 08nastyGT was the first to put it on and has about 3,000 miles on the kit no issues and loving every bit of it.

Antonio which worked with Amped Speed lab the guys I bought the kit from has about 2000 miles on the kit and the same loving it one other guy only bought the hotside piping from them so you cant really count him I believe I am the 4th and will be driving my car to mustang week with it.

More pictures to come took a bunch but trying to get this hotside together now, the kit looks great.

I noticed that ON3 does not have the kit on there site. I wonder if they are testing the kit right now? Will they go up in price once they see satisfied customers? I here you can drain the oil pan and do a flush , that is what the local turbo installer does here. If it was my car,the pan would come off. That is just my over kill though.
