I wouldn't be disappointed with those numbers! They are a little low, but 285-295 is the ball park for a bolt on 3V. Temp, Location of the Dyno, Elevation, Brand of the Dyno etc.. also all pay a huge part in your results! So my 2007 mustang GT/CS only pulled 283 RWHP after a cold air intake, BBK longtube headers, x-pipe with high flow cats and an SCT bama sf3/x3 tuner. is that just me or do those numbers seem alittle too low?
How do i get what the WOT at 4K rpms is? how do it get that?283 is pretty darn good if you ask me, the CAI is maybe 5 over stock and the exhaust will net about 20RW. Is it a canned tune loaded from the SCT? I'd datalog some parameters like spark advance/maf counts and voltage etc.. Tell me what your WOT timing is over 4K rpms and I'll tell you if your too advanced or could benefit from more:bigthumbsup
That's not bad at all.So my 2007 mustang GT/CS only pulled 283 RWHP after a cold air intake, BBK longtube headers, x-pipe with high flow cats and an SCT bama sf3/x3 tuner. is that just me or do those numbers seem alittle too low?
Most of us will agree those gains are abnormally high for the few mods you listed. Do you have a graph showing the before and after numbers of the dyno runs? When I wasn't force feed I ran this setup. Steeda CAI with elbow, Roush UDP, MAC mufflers and a custom tune 91 octane tune. Before any mods I put down 252 rwhp and 272 rwtq. After my number were 298 rwhp and 308 rwtq. My car is a stick shift.
Your not gonna pick up 46RWHP with those Mods:?:When I wasn't force feed I ran this setup. Steeda CAI with elbow, Roush UDP, MAC mufflers and a custom tune 91 octane tune. Before any mods I put down 252 rwhp and 272 rwtq. After my number were 298 rwhp and 308 rwtq. My car is a stick shift.
WOT is wide open throttle, go on SCT's site and get schooled on how to datalog your engine parameters. Send them to American Muscle to take a look at like the responder offered or tell me what the numbers were..:bigthumbsupHow do i get what the WOT at 4K rpms is? how do it get that?
I know what WOT is, ill look into it and ill let you know, thanks a lot!!!WOT is wide open throttle, go on SCT's site and get schooled on how to datalog your engine parameters. Send them to American Muscle to take a look at like the responder offered or tell me what the numbers were..:bigthumbsup
The plugs or the COP's? whats the COP's? i would be better served with a dyno? what does that mean? So if i keep running my car the way it is running right now i shouldn't hurt anything right? The guy strongly suggested no to be driving it hard right now. I will most likely get it dyne tuned maybe in march or april, hopefully that help. When they did the first pull it was puffing more black smoke than a diesel!!!Looking at your dyno, you undoubtely have a problem. I would suspect either plugs or COP's. That curve needs to be smooth. You would be better served with a dyno....atleast to check out all your parameters. While I don't think your car is gonna explode or anything, there is definitely a problem and in the electrical/ignition area likely....IMO.
I would rule out battery and alternator via testing done for free at autozone. What is your plug gap and what plugs?
COP's- Coil On Plug...your ignition. I didn't know your car was smoking like a diesel. You need to get this figured out. Air, fuel, or fire....that's the question. My guess is fire and like I said that could be COPS, spark plugs....could very well be the tune, but If it's blowing smoke like a diesel ....yikes. Who did your tune? The plugs or the COP's? whats the COP's? i would be better served with a dyno? what does that mean? Yea the guy told me its running rich about 10% more rich than I should, he also said the spark timing is running to advances that its sparking while the piston is still making its way up. And bama performance did my tune from American Muscle, I highly do not recommend them. Now ima have to pay 450 to get their crap fixed. It's not throwing any codes, the guy told me they probably cleared the codes or erased them or somethin cause the car should throw codes for running rich but yea ima take it easy on it till I get her tuned againCOP's- Coil On Plug...your ignition. Your car throwing any codes? Seems like it would if it was smoking like a diesel. Don't haul ass in it. You need to get her fixed. Then you can check your "numbers" out again on the dyno and I'm gonna guess you will see about 300rwhp.
