Going to the Cobra/Bullit rears a worthwhile upgrade, caliper the same, pads/rotors/anti-moan bracket/axle bracket are different, links in your other posts & pics of mine. The Cobra/Mach I/Bullitt front calipers are fine for everything but all-out track car.

dvs_03GT,

I like the stock brakes a lot. If you have them in good shape they are more than suficient for every day use. Plus for me it was necessary to keep them because of the 16" snow tires.
Now, if you would take your stang and go "road course racing", the brakes would definitely not be sufficient any more.
The only upgrade in my opinion is the cobra brake kit. It is cheap and proven to last. But that's only my opinion.

If I'd be you I'd go with cobra ones: cobra mounting bracket, cobra caliper.
As disks I'd go with Brembo, Ford OEM, or Motorcrap.
Pads: I'd only use the Motorcrap -> low dust no squealing.

Rear calipers probably okay; ideally you'd end up w/a vented rotor on rear. The Baer Eradispeed +1 kit IS noisy.

Assume w/your current combo of Cobra fronts & chrome 18" wheels you want something that looks good too - a little research should get both looks & performance.

Pics are Eradispeed 13" rotors (17" wheels), and a Powerslot stock-replacement rear GT rotor. The bigger rotors sure look better on rear; noisy but I'll live w/it for the look.
