I have finally bought a nice pair of cylinder heads to begin my engine build over the winter. I picked up a set of Trick Flow 170 Track Heat heads.

Just looking for some opinions on what I intend to do here:

Intake: I have a GT40 now, but may have a lead on a Holley Systemax
Cam: TFS Stage 1
Rockers: Scorpion Race 1.6
Fuel System: 24 lb. Injectors, matching MAF, 190 LPH fuel pump

Plus everything I allready have in my signature below.

Any input on how well this will work or opinions on these parts would be appreciated.

Thanks

Parts combo sounds pretty good to me for a stout street/strip motor.

What's the story on the bottom end? Rebuilt or re-ringing while you have it torn down?

And.. Subframes! Add them now if you haven't already. Big difference.

The Holley will really round out that combo. The cam is a nice mild cam and will compliment the car and it's street manners. It should be peppy.

You may want to add 1 3/4 inch long tubes. Not mandatory but it may get you a few horses. I have almost the exact same setup except a track heat manifold and it runs damn good. I wish I had long tubes and a systeMax though, oh and some traction would be nice lol
