Late model Resto sells this kit.

*Ford Racing Cobra intake - satin finish
*Ford Racing E303 cam
*Limited supply, new, Ford GT40P heads
*Ford Racing M9430P50 stainless steel shorty headers
*Motorcraft spark plugs
*Roller timing chain set
*Gasket set
*Head Bolts
*Smog pump delete

I have a nearly stock Auto, 89 vert........flows, H-Pipe, K&N..nothin else.

My question is would I see any noticeable gains from this setup? Or would I just be wasting my money. Keep in mind, I am on a budget and not trying to build a race car. Just a faster street car.

depending on the price i would look into some better parts. I have heard the alphabet cams leave a lot to be desired.

You would definetely notice a difference in power that is for sure, but like nadrepadre was saying, depending on the price of the kit you are suggesting you might just be betting off going with something like the trick flow top end kit like this one http://www.trickflow.com/egnsearch.asp?N=400098+4294908331+4294925232+115+325386&autoview=sku which will definetely make more power and would be just as street friendly.

Well the cost for the cobra kit is $1,650.
The Trick Flow lists in the ball park of about $2,500. Thats not in my budget right now.

So with the ford parts I listed could I simply buy a different cam and run it instead of the Alphabet cam.....I don't know a lot about it...if you couldn't tell.

other than the cam its not a bad kit for the price and your performance goals

Go with a Steeda #18 Cam and 86 those shorty headers in that Kit for Mac Ceramic coated Long tubes with shorty H Pipe!
