Ok so I'm buying new rear tires. I have zero tread on them and they are actually falling apart. They are the Nitto 555 Extreme Performance Tires. I'm wanting to stay with Nitto but I want a drag slick now. Only thing is I don't know what size to buy. I have the Stack Racing 18x10 Deep Dish Black Bullitt wheels on the back. The 284/40/18 says it is for a 18x10 rim - so you should be good. You could get the NT05R - just be careful as these tires are not good for rain and should not be used in snow.

Do you mean 285/40/18? Didn't see a 284, typo I'm sure. Those are the one's I'm looking at. I'll buy some all seasons when winter comes around.

I have the Nitto 555R 305/40/18s on a 10 inch rim. They work very well for me. I get great traction on the street. I was blowing my regular 285/40 Nitto 555s away all the way into third gear before switching to these. They also ride better. I guess that is due to a slightly taller and softer sidewall. Unless you are a diehard drag racer running a lot at the strip, these will work great and give you some mileage. If you want a drag radial for ultimate traction at the strip, then jump to the 505R or the MT ET Street, but be warned they are not going to last nearly as long as the 555R.

Do you mean 285/40/18? Didn't see a 284, typo I'm sure. Those are the one's I'm looking at. I'll buy some all seasons when winter comes around.
