Do you still have the brass restrictor under thermostat housing?

While cruising the pusher style fan can obstruct air flow, is there a reason you went pusher instead of puller?

FWIW - my 408 with a way too small radiator runs 190 - 195 cruising and goes to 210 stop and go traffic but I am convinced it is because of the high stall I run (use a radiator with a tranny cooler built in and have not installed an aux cooler yet) so when stop and go or slow crawl it heats up fast.
Not sure about the brass restrictor i have never realley payed it any attention i would have to pull the thermostat housing and check. I went with a 16inch puller on the inside and it wasen't cooling it so i put a 10 inch on the outside to help. Which it did Thanks again Travis
