Hey Y'all! I've been doing a lot of research lately (as usual) and I've been bitten by the engine bay dress up bug. I've already decided I'm going to paint my radiator cover to add a bit of a spice to the engine bay appearance. If that goes well, I'll paint my CAI tube and maybe even my intake manifold depending on how froggy I'm feeling. One thing I'm having some trouble finding information on though is for my strut tower brace. I have an SR Performance brace and it appears to be painted in some sort of black/grey hammertone paint. I'm wanting to paint it an nice glossy red so would this be much different from painting the plastic pieces or am I completely in the wrong direction? Has anyone painted this thing before? Any help is appreciated as always.

Robostang did his (I think he wrapped it) but I cant imagine paint would be any different from any metal surface. fwiw I've seen several with the rad covers painted and like the look but know I'd just scuff it up putting tools on it.
