Hello,
I am a new owner of a 2003 Mustang V6 convertible. The car has 80K miles on it and runs great! I had a problem with the front brakes dragging. After replacing all the inexpensive parts first, hoses, calipers, rotors, ect... with no solution to the problem, I was told it could be the ABS unit that was the problem. The mechanic could not find a new ABS unit w/Trac around the Seattle area or on the parts database. I am talking about a large chain auto shop. I took the car home and found another mechanic. He replaced the master cylinder, (It looked new when I bought the car and and previous owner told me the brakes were done the year before). It turns out it was the wrong unit for the car. The first shop only charged me for the parts and after everthing was inspected by my new mechanic, I felt comfortable driving the car. After the first experience I am wondering about getting other parts for the car. My question is: Anyone else have a problem with finding parts for a 2003 V6?
