I just want a very moderate drop to get rid of the wheel gap. I want it as minimal as possible because I would like to reuse my stock shocks and other suspension components.

I would like to retain as much of the stock drivability as I can, what I mean by this is overall road feel while driving and going over speed bumps and clearance with curbs and inclines.

I have narrowed it down to:
Eibach Pro's
Steeda Sports
Roush Extreme
FRPP P Springs

Only other thing I may need is the adjustable panhard bar correct?

I would like some suggestions from those of you who have a similar setup, and your opinions on how you like it.

I have the ford racing m5300-p springs. Wish I went with the Roush springs. Car is making annoying creaking from the rear. As far as appearance I think it looks great! Still waiting to get this noise resolved. Best of luck!

wow the steeda ultralights look great! what is the difference between those and the sports?

Yeah, ive been reading about the FRPP P springs squeaking, i might not get them for that reason, but they do seem to be popular.

If you guys could post some pics of your rides please do!

People will tell you that you don't need an adjustable panhard bar because technically you don't NEED it in order to lower your car... but even with a one inch drop, my rear end is shifted to the side by about a quarter inch. No one has ever commented on it to me, but *I* know it's off center and it bugs me to death. I picked up one of these yesterday: 2005-2011 Ford Mustang Pro Street Double Adjustable Pan Hard Bar - UPR Products

That's our double adjustable, tubular chrome-moly pan hard bar with polyurethane bushings. Problem solved!

Let me know if you decide to pick one up. I'll PM you a 10% discount code. :bigthumbsup

I vote for Steeda Ultra-Lite springs. However, Decam stated that they are a 1" drop in the front and a 1.25" drop in the back. However, this is true for Steeda Sport springs. Steeda Ultra-Lite springs actually drop the car 1.25" in the front and 1.5" in the back.

Quoted from Steeda's website:
"Ultralite Springs - Part Number: 555-8206
Lowers the vehicle approx 1 1/4 inch front, 1 1/2 inch rear. The S197 Mustang sits high in the rear. These springs will give it a more aggressive look
High quality lower weight wire for less unsprung weight and less inertia for the best ride quality available of any lowering spring
Good improvement in handling and noticeable reduction in nosedive.

the other thing I would like to add is that i go over alot of speed bumps on my daily route that require me to go over at about 2 mph on the stock suspension.. which would provide me with about the same level of drivability over bumps?

BMR suspension has some nice springs also that maintain the hourglass figure for the rears.

Put Eibach Pros on mine about 3 months ago. Nice drop but not extreme and with no creaking at all. Dropped about 1 inch in front and almost 1.5 in the rear. You will need an adjustable panhard bar as the rear will shift to the drivers side. I went with the J&M and installed in less than 1 hour.

I know what the advertised drop is, but I'm just stating real world numbers. I measured before and after height and the springs only lowered the car 1"front and 1 1/4 " rear. Maybe after a few hundred miles the springs will settle and lower the car slightly more.

Sharad, is the 10% discount only for the PH bar? And for how long? I have Vogtland 1.5" springs(good price!) and ordering Tokico D-Specs soon, want a PH bar, LCAs and UCA.

Ah...good to know. That definitely solidified my vote for the Ultra-Lites.

While I said I didn't need one my actual measured offset is closer to 1/8 of an inch.

This is my car lowered 1 inch on Ford m5300-p springs. Due to the creaking in the rear, I would not recommend them and wish I had went with something else. Still trying to figure out what the problem is.
