Hello, new member from East Texas.

Here's a few pics of the new ride! Excuse the glare and reflections, I just waxed her and it was a very bright day today.

Nice job! On my monitor the pics are a bit dark?
When it comes to waxing and detailing, glare and reflections means you did a good job! :winks
This is the main reason I started coming to this forum. Pictures of beautiful Mustangs are just that--beautiful!

Did you clay that Kona? It sure looks nice.:bigthumbsup
Beautiful mustang! :yup::bigthumbsup:bigthumbsup
That is clean bro!
Thanks for all the love guys! Didn't expect so many replies so quickly. I also detailed the interior and may add those pics later. Although on this forum I'm sure everyones already seen the interior of a Mustang lol, Mostly taking it to show off on my old car forum (my.is)

Probably my photography skills! I'm an amateur and using my kid's badass Canon DSLR, so it's probably on the wrong setting! So apologies if they didn't come out well.

Guess that means I didn't do too terrible of a job! Thanks.

And to answer a previous question, yes I did clay bar and wax it. Complete detail except for steaming/polishing engine bay. Didn't have enough time today. I'll do it next month when I recoat the wax.

That Looks awesome!!! Do you know the guy from Pass Time? They say he's from Tyler, TX.
He is from around here. But no, not personally.

If you know anything about Supras, PowerHouse Racing started out here too.

Several crazy car builders/shops hidden in this area that no one tends to notice lol. Unfortunately I haven't found any good Mustang shops nearby yet.
That looks outstanding but please please loose that stupid front plate .

Ha, only had the car a few days. Texas requires a front plate, so once the real tags come in I'm putting them on. I kept the front plate of my Jeep Wrangler in the window and was stopped several times. I always told them I would put it on later this week and got off, but since this car came with the mounting for the plate already installed I may as well use it :)

What wax did you use?
Midnight Express. It seems to work really well with darker colors.

Hi-Temp Midnight Express Wax/Polymer Sealant 32 oz. - St. Pete Auto Aids - Auto Detail Supply

Learned a lot from this site: http://autopia.org/

Thanks again for all the compliments, I love all the neck breaking I get as I drive through town with a clean car :D

Awesome I will try some over Black Fire on my Kona also

I haven't experimented much as I'm new to detailing my car, so no guarantees on it being better than the black fire.

Let me know how it compares though!
Nice! Looks familiar! Be sure to protect your front lower rocker panels from road spray. These kona Brembo cars are notorious for road rash damage because of the 19 inch Pirelli's and Ford already told me they won't fix them and that we're on our own. I drive down in south Florida where there aren't any dirt or gravel roads and my lower rocker panels are wearing down to the bare metal after around 10k miles +!

very nice:bigthumbsup..not a fan of Kona when the purple hues are visible, but when the car is clean and the sun hits it just right it's a spectacular color...great job!
