POLL: Which 3" Cowl Hood and Why?

If you were to choose a 3" cowl hood for your pony, which one would it be and why?

I'm going to get one. Period. So if it's not your thing, then please do not respond.

Ultimately the choice is mine, but I'm really on the fence with this, as there are a few really great looking ones out there, so I'd like to know what you would select for yourself (or if you already have purchased one yourself and why (excluding price considerations).

I'm leaning toward the TruFiber hood from Cruizin' Concepts Wholesale:

Here's another pic from a different vendor:

Although Blow By Racing is pretty decent, though obviously a world different:

The Evolution Performance 4" cowl doesn't quite get it for me:

Thanx much!

Well I haven't bought one but from what I see from the pictures the TruFiber makes the car look more like a Drag car than the others do. The one from BBR makes the car look more street than drag, but also keeps the Drag look with the cowl (hopefully that makes sense). Its all in your preference, if you want your mustang to look more like you track it a lot, than go with the TruFiber one, but if you like to keep it a little simpler, while making it a little more aggressive looking, than go with the BBR one.

Number one looks the best to me, but I myself wouldnt put a cowl hood. Just my opinion...
The bbr hood Flows with the body lines a lot better then the big box style of the others. i vote bbr. :bigthumbsup
I like the BBR one. Not as sharp of a line as some of the others.
we already kinda have a fake cowl lol, but i vote 1 as well

Yeah, I get you on that for sure. The sharp angles and more narrow run of the TruFiber put me off a bit but then the BBR isn't quite right either, though I will agree that both make the car look quite aggressive.

Cosmetically I like the pseudo-Cobra Jet appearance but I don't own a Jet, so I want to retain the look of a "lesser" model while still giving this zippy little monster the recognition it deserves.

Functionally I need a good cowl to help keep the cramped engine bay cool during the miserable 117+ temperatures of the summers here but is closed up enough to keep from sucking a pound of sand onto the engine (that's why I'm not considering scoops that face forward).

Yeah, and that's why I'm on the fence. I suppose I need to look at a few more angles of both.

Cool beans. I can respect that.

Yeah. My wife is fond of the stock hood, but I got roped in when I stumbled upon pics of the Cobra Jet - Super Cobra Jet - Cobra Jet mock-up's.

I don't want my ride being confused for one, as she can't live up to the power, but I do LOVE the aggressive looks.

I already have a Roush "wrap around" rear spoiler that resembles the GT and Jet series of vehicles but is different enough to tell that's not what it's from. I want a nose to complement horsey's tail. The little stock knot is okay but not quite "me."

So far we have:

3 = TruFiber
2 = BBR
1 = Evolution

Upload a pic or two if you have one on your ride already.

BBR without a doubt
I vote for the BBR hood
After seeing a few extra views of each, I'm inclined to agree with BBR. It does seem to flow better with the car's lines. I'll post some pic's once my cool hood is painted and installed.
