Hey guys, just received my edelbrock performer rpm 2 in the mail the other day. Now that i look at it, it looks pretty rough in the ports. I have a set of edelbrock performer heads that it will be going on and ive smoothed the ports on the heads pretty good, do you think i should to the same with the intake?

I port matched the RPM Airgap I bought to my Edelbrock heads. If you have the tools to do it, figure it is free power/flow improvement. :bigthumbsup

But for real, if you can do it then by all means since every little bit helps.

Just use a light hand, you don't want to go too far and ruin it by going into a water port or otherwise. Use a carbide bit and not a non-ferrous since it's aluminum you'll be working with.
