I've finally gotten around to tuning the car, and I've noticed a severe issue. Under load, 3rd gear or 1st around 5000RPM, there is a distinctive popping coming from the exhaust. When this occurs the engine noticeably stumbles right when the pop happens.

The engine setup is in my sig below, and I'm running 10 degrees timing. The car still has stock ignition and distributor, any chance it could be a problem related to that? Also it is running 93 octane gas.

Thanks for any ideas!

since your running such high octane and a big maf sensor you might want to bump your timing up to around 14 or so maybe a little more

You really could use some increased timing in that. Might be that, the higher octane may not be completely burning off. Either that or try some lower octane, it burns faster.
