Let me start by saying I did a 5.4 swap. I'm getting no spark to cylinders 4, 5, 6, and 8. Mechanic said he thinks it's the cars computer. Is there another reason these cylinders would be dead other than there being an issue with the ECU?

Also, my guages haven't been working right since we started it?! Any explaination to this? They don't go to 0 anymore... Mechanic checked all the wires. He said the ground wire was never correctly hooked up to ECU, but he fixed it and it still doesn't work.

Let us know how your engine swap turns out. I have a 2000 GT that I was considering doing the same project on. Now I'm not so sure.

COP 1,2,3,7 all pass through connector C133.

COP 4,5,6, and 8 all pass through connector C1045.

Soooooo. After a motor swap, I would say check the connectors to the engine harness since the problem cylinders all have the same connector in common.
