Problem with Forums Search Feature?

I have an issue with the search function.

Today..I looked for my exhaust videos....I've posted them..Probably a couple times now for others to get an example of the magnaflow sound on the 05.
I did many- many searches in both the tech and lounge...using Magnaflow..Magnaflow vids..Magnaflow Exhaust videos....Thunder05 videos...magnaflow sound clips....magnaflow exhaust...Plus even a few other stupid combinations.

Getting this same response.

Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.

Only on, just the word "magnaflow" did any results appear at all ..They were this ONLY!!!!

JBA or Magnaflow?????

Magnaflow has been talked about numerous times...But The word magnaflow only yeilds 2 post???? Made today only??

I found my videos by looking thru pages my old posts...They are still there and theres no reason the searches shouldn't have found them using my key words..They were posted in April.
It seems to me that the search function is only looking as far back as the split..... why?

Just to be sure ..Before posting this ...I did the following test searches with these results.

Procharger=

Cold air intake systems, CAI, Steeda CAI ..all the same=

410 gears=

These next ones are hilarious to the point of SAD!

I'm looking at the D*mn sticky with TSB's...But nothing on a search pops up???

My issue summed up is this:

How can we expect someone new here to search a topic before posting...When I can't search for posts knowing the full topic and even the person that made the post??:sosad:

Here is my first try... took .48 secs, Magnaflow took .15!

I just copied your word vortech and pasted it in the dropdown search box and got only this thread.

LMAO...I just searched magnaflow sound..and the only thing that popped up was this thread again.

Found the problem and Fix on the search problem

Scroll to the bottom of the tech or lounge index page and reset the display options...Even if they say "LAST POST TIME" and "BEGINING" Reset the options.
After doing it ..I'm getting complete search lists now.
Alls Good Again.

While in the lounge or tech index page..scroll to the bottom of the page to display options.
It should say "LAST POST TIME" and "BEGINING" Reset the options by hitting "SHOW THREAD".
After resetting this my search function works fine.:happyhapp

You should be using the "Search this forum" on the lounge or tech index page directly below the page count.

The single word search between new post and quick links will search the whole site.

But don't worry....It's not just you....Mine WAS working fine...But now it's NOT WORKING again...Even after resetting the options twice...lol
It's gotta be something with the board.
