Problems with computer

Hey all, I just purchased my 2006 'Stang V6 coupe back in February. It doesn't have any after market parts.. yet...

But my question is this. Naturally, i just went over the 36000 mile warranty last month, so of course now the computer decided to go haywire. My gas gauge is showing on E, the gas light, oil light, and skid lights are on, and the passenger airbag and TCS are off above the radio. Anyone ever have experience with this issue, and any advice on how to proceed?

Pre-emptive Thanks!

I'm not 100% sure but i've always heard certain electrical components were covered even after the regular warranty expired.

My smart junction box went out at 42,000 miles... Ford paid for the new junction box ($300) and I just had to pay for labor...

And by the sound of OP problem, it could be the smart junction box...

Now when the dealership gave me the original quote to fix my car, they had me paying for everything... i asked them if there was anything they could do to help me out... since I was a regular customer... the guy made a phone call and got it so i just paid the labor...

hmm...if the car is running fine id look into the smart junction box...buttt if it dies and wont run its your alternator. i had that roblem at 12000mi. just drivin down the road my headlights went out, my dash lights light up and she choked up and died. had ford take it in underwarranty(after i stripped my bolt ons and returned to stock) and they fixed it. i hate the irony of warranties.

If you happen to have the old type Peripheal Electronics iPod adapter installed, it will cause it to do that.
