I just pulled the air silencer in my stang (boy is that thing pointless) and I have a quick question. I have a K&N filter that replaces the stock one and I intalled it back on the intake tube and used the clamp that secured the silencer in place to secure it to the tube. My problem is that the clamp did not completely secure the filter to the tube. It is not going to go anywhere, but there is a small gap between the filter and the tube all the way around since the silencer had a bigger circumference and the clamp was made for it. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get a sugger fit or does it not really matter that it is not completely snug on there?
