I got pulled over for a headlight out (on of my ballasts blew en route), and the cop also gave me a hard time for the location of my license plate (which is on the dash behind the right side of the windshield). Luckily I'm such a smooth talker I didn't get a ticket :nogrinner

So, end game is, this cop hangs out right by my apartment building all the time, so I need to fix my license plate issue ASAP or he'll pull me over again and I probably will get a ticket.

I was thinking of doing a universal bracket that would mount at the top of my lower grille. I have a GT bumper with no holes in the front, and I would like to keep it that way. Any ideas? Wish I didn't have to do this but I do.

I have one of the craigs custom brackets. Someone on here reviewed one recently. I believe it was under $100, works well with no drilling.

Yes, go with the Craig bracket. I will upload some photos and finish the review today (hopefully). It works great. The bracket frame wedges between the fascia and styrofoam bumper and utilizes a compression plate to make sure it stays in place.

It's been on the car for a few days now. Bay Area roads are far from perfect and it's still there! I do not see it falling off. Recommended product. :bigthumbsup

I would go with a craig bracket too. The only reason I don't have one on my car is because my car already had holes drilled in it. When I get my CS bumper cover, I'm ordering a craig's bracket along with it. I don't want any holes anywhere, not even on the underside of the chin portion of the bumper.

How does it utilize no drilling?
I don't have much experience with the Craig's bracket, but our Flip Down License Plate holder is pretty cool. If my State required a front license plate, this is definitely something I would do. However, it does require some drilling in order to mount the frame. I'm not sure how the Craig's bracket mounts, either.

Good luck with your decision and keep the Police off your tail!
