Hey guys, I am in the process of building a 306 engine for my mustang. I purchased the short block brand new on ebay with a one year warranty for $1,300, and it is supposed to make 440 hp. I have a trick flow tfs-51402000 cam with a duration of 283/291 and a lift of .499/.510. My question is, what length pushrods do i want? I have gt40p heads with 1.6 roller rockers and new valve springs and retainers. Also, what are some good gaskets? Im looking for a complete gasket kit, from oil pan to valve cover. I have heard about the valve covers with the rubber o-ring. Are these good? Any info would be helpful.

Thanks

sorry to break it to you, but your not gonna make that kind of power with gt40 anything. whatever you do, don't skimp on gaskets. buy felpro. In order to find out what length pushrod you need, you gotta get a pushrod checker and find out for yourself.
