Hello guys, I have a 1986 mustang, I did not build the motor so I do not know everything that's in it. I'm in need of new lifters, I know mine aren't stock but I can't find any numbers. How can I go about finding the right lifters

Stock pushrod length is 6.272 inches to be exact.
I would measure the length of the rods you have now
and compare that to stock length . If you have pedestal
rockers then length is critical, if you have adjustable
stud rockers then pushrod length if with in a few thousands
is not. I would check the seat height of the lifter. That is measured
from roller to the bottom of the pushrod seat and see if your lifters
are the same height.
