the lx tails are way nicer. looks good
I like those better. I had the first ones on my 1988 GT and never cared for them.
I have to be honest this is a hard one. The cheese graters actually looked pretty good...now there is a lot of red in the back that wasn't there so it kind of looks wierd now(just because I'm used to seeing the cheese graters on it). I would smoke them a little, or get the smoked lenses. Then it will have the ultimate look.

Just hold onto the GT lenses, they're getting hard to find and the price to buy them are going way up. Nobody is making the GT lenses either, so let the demand grow and you might be able to make some dough off of them.

I'm a GT guy with LX lenses. It might be just me, but the GT lenses gave a sense of the rear being 'squared' while the LX lenses made it more 'rounded'. I know it's the color change that's making it look that way but anyone else see it?

Call me crazy......:kooky:

But that is one of the few car that actually looks better with the GT taillights.......
I was thinking about putting LX taillights on my GT but when they are in good condition I prefer the look of the cheese graters.

Thank You Reggie you backed me up! :) Also, Eagle, there is a company that makes them. I forget the name.
It's about time someone made the GT lenses.
Im not getting rid of the cheese graters thats for sure..There a little dull..Once i get the car re-pinted they will be re-sprayed and then put back on ...I just thought being the LX tals were so clean and bright looking they would look better for now....:)

LRS sells the GT lenses
What're you trying to do? Start a car lot? You get too many more GTs on that street it'll look like you are.

I didnt like the cheese graters tails when they first came out, over time they have aged like a nice bottle of wine, I like the LX ends on your present car, your right I would never take them off the red vert
The red Vert is staying STOCK looking...i might down the road bolt up a blower again on it i shouldnt have sold the Paxton that was on it...Buy we live and learn...The GT that is my daily is going to get a vortech and re-painted thats it for that car....:)
I think the LX tail lights look good. I like the simpler look they give it.
