I am glad you posted this question! I have had my eye on the throttle body and plenum combo that Trickflow makes. Summit Racing has it for a good price. I know alot of the 5.0 guys rave aboue TrickFlow products. I have heard they are good. It would be nice to get some feed back from the guys on here.
Quality of a Trick Flow 70mm Throttle Body
I'm pricing out throttle body/plenum combos and want to know how the quality of the trick flow throttle body is. I like the looks/reviews of the accufab combo kit but don't like the price. I know that you get what you pay for but sometime you pay too much. So, is the trickflow throttle body a quality piece or did they skimp on quality to get the price down. The trickflow TB in my eyes is a high quality product I was a former employee of summit and I highly recommended it to everyone that came in asking that question. I have never heard anything bad about them or seen anyone return the trickflow combo. The only thing is that it does not have the flash some people are looking for in the engine bay. So if you are not looking to add flash to your bay this combo perfect.
Thanks for the reply. I'm looking for performance more than bling. I just wanted to make sure the precision quality was there. Thanks again and I'd like to hear from more if there are any out there.
