+1 on not getting the 50/50. unless you are really lazy and feel like wasting your momey
If you don't get the 50/50, make sure to buy distilled water and not reg tap water.

I agree I use a 75% distilled H2O and 25% coolant, don't buy the watered down mix!

Also the mix depends where you live. Down here in Miami it will never freeze and I use a mix of 70/30.

Oh, And I forgot but what should i do with the cooling system since it is rusted to hell and has old gunk brown residue on the radiator cap?
Its pretty bad. should i just flush it out and put 50/50 prestone in? or should i pull out the radiator and clean it real good and the pump and all?

Anyway...
I personally would flush the system, then take out the radiator completely and dump it. If you can see it in the radiator, there's a lot more at the bottom of it.

50/50 is good to keep with you but if your flushing you might as well do full and mix your own you get 2 gallons for $1 more on average over the pre mix
