uhh i have a 88 gt AOD my mods are O/R x pipe and dynomax cat back and a conical filter..i was curious to ppl with an AOD /410's did you start peeling out at idle then STOMP the gas to burn rubber...does that happen? lol thx guys:bigthumbsup

That can happen with 3:73's but with the 4:10's, you should be able to. One thing that holds the AOD back is the big heavy 12 inch 1500 stall speed converter. Swap that over to a 10 inch with 2200-2400 stall speed, it'd make as big a difference as gears do. Then you could probably be rolling and smoke em.

Of course there's other companies for both.

If I was to do it over again(and I probally will once it is nice out) I would have put 4.10's in mine. 3.73 makes a big difference but there is plenty room to go lower.
