Ok I order my 5.0 a while ago and want it with some accessory like the side scoops, 1/4 window louvers and the pedestal spoiler. But the my salesman said that if I wanted those items I would need to buy the GT Coupe Acessory Package 5. Which it inclueds those plus the hood scoop and the decklid trim. He said that I couldn't order it with only the accessory I want it. So is that true or false?

Unfortunately, true, GT Package 1, gets you the side window louvers, side scoops and rear deck lid black trim. To get the scoop up have to go with GT Package 5...

Not like when you build it on the Ford web, where it would appear you can add them individually.

I asked the same question at three different dealers and got the same answer.

True, can only order by package.

You can only get them separately as an accessory. Unpainted.
There are trim shops that can paint and install them.

Thats what I'm doing. I only want the louvers, not the rest of the packages.

yeah same here, I didn't want the "whole package", but that didn't work, so I bought the car with no accessories, and I will go aftermarket.
